[PAST] In 2000, The Devil's Playground was unceremoniously thrust onto the world wide web. Hosted by Geocities, it was little more than a collection of the available Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 media already floating around on the web, and the only words that could be used to properly describe it were garish and sophomoric. However, as time passed, The Devil's Playground grew to include original content, and the design attempted to reflect that metamorphosis. As its traffic and content increased, it eventually migrated to another free web host with unlimited bandwidth and no annoying ads, but disk space related constraints and other assorted factors prompted the twisted individual responsible for The Devil's Playground to purchase a domain. In February 2006, halfeatencorpse.com became the new home of The Devil's Playground, and it soon saw the addition of a second site: Midian, The Unofficial Home Of Clive Barker's Nightbreed. Over the course of 6 years, The Devil's Playground had grown to include interviews with Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 cast members, the first draft of the script, various magazine articles, sound files, screenshots and an amalgam of other assorted Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 resources & had even been cited in a magazine article, and Midian hoped to follow in its footsteps. [PRESENT] Halfeatencorpse.com is delighted to be the unofficial home of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and Clive Barker's Nightbreed. Both mini-sites, The Devil's Playground and Midian, hope to provide fans of the films with as much information as they can possibly stomach and offer forum based communities, which make meeting other hardcore fans of either film possible. Sadly, it isn't updated half as much as it likely should be, but that shouldn't be confused with abandonment. Regardless of how often new content is or isn't added, halfeatencorpse.com is dedicated to befouling the world wide web with fictional perversions that include, but are not limited to, chainsawed fingers and bones, button-faced megalomaniacs, fabulously tasty human flesh flavored chili and other macabre stuff. [FUTURE] Although it's impossible to foresee what will unfold in halfeatencorpse.com's near future, both The Devil's Playground and Midian are far from complete. 2006 saw the release of a special edition of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, which has yet to be documented properly, and it also saw the inception of a site dedicated to Clive Barker's Nightbreed, which has yet to spread its proverbial wings and fly, though it has met with approval by fans of the film. As far as the distant future as it pertains to horror films is concerned, I shall leave you with one word.......... [BRAINS!]
